BeinG BitchY

I think sometimes God is too kind to me. Why? Coz He always has a way of 'showing' me what I don't know. Well, I know actually but all this time I was guessing and today He got my feelings confirmed. I admit I'm not made to perfection....not even close to that. I have flaws that probably some of u have. One thing I'm sure ALL people have in common is we share thoughts among our friends about other people behind their backs. I think that's pretty normal. I dare u to say u never coz even if u talk about that particular person in a good way, that's consider talking behind others' backs, right? And I'm very, very sure ALL of us do that all the time. So, tell me why, coz frankly I don't understand, some people will keep pointing fingers calling me names when they themselves obviously been including me in all their comments and sarcasm? Maybe I'm wrong.... or maybe the only people who do that are women who are married to much, much older guys who can't satisfy their wives' sex needs thus making them such sour grapes, or women who cheated on their boyfriends but yet love to give out love advices to other people or even women who love to fuck with every different guys yet refuse to acknowledge them as their boyfriends.... I dunno.... maybe only those group of women do that. Geez.... some people just won't rest even though I have avoided their circle of friends. Please yaaaa.... if u are reading this and I know u are, go find someone your level to fuck around with! I'm way out of your league coz even though I have nothing against Mangga Dua, I just DON'T LIKE to use fake stuffs (if I can't afford, I won't buy instead of buying a fake one and brag around saying I use it to put my diapers), even though I go online all the time, I don't let my kids eat their crayons, even though I'm narcissist, I don't go around posting my pics in the forum with different pose of me wearing pajamas, looking in the cam with my cross-eyes thinking that make me look cute, even though I have once been young I don't jump from one club to another club or even allow just any guy to my house. I know I still act childish for my age but take a look at your friend ... she looks like a grandma taking care of her grandkids and yet she keeps picking on me. Or better still take a look at yourself. How much younger u are than me sih? Just a couple of years but suddenly turn to Virgin Mary when compared to me. When u act your age, then u have every right to judge me (in your late twenties but still go clubbing.... no wonder all the guys can think of is to fuck u...) And why is that grandma so pissed at me for? Who am I? Her enemy? Please deh... she's not even a threat to me. I don't envy her looks. Even though I'm not among the prettiest or the sexiest but hell, I know I look better than her. Sam would go and fuck other women if I look like her, which I believe her hubby would do if only he still has that strength .( I would slit my arms with pen knife a couple of times every day if I look like her coz I would be way too stress.... how she can still live after all these years, that's beyond my understanding...)... I don't envy her having that husband.... I don't want to fuck him even if he begs me to (which I knew he would the minute he sees me and if he says he doesn't that's because he's afraid his wife would kill him while he's sleeping if he said that words right out) and there is no more guys in this world for me to choose from coz I don't believe in fucking guys twice my age no matter how filthy rich they are (apalagi yang cuman punya Amex gold, ke laut aja laaah... mana bisa idupin gua). I don't envy her kids.... pffft....look at how they turn out....like some kids who've just been thru weeks of chemotheraphy and definitely I don't envy her life. Helloooo.... internet is no substitute for sex. If u say it is, u really need to get laid soon.... and I mean VERY SOON. I won't say "Please stop talking about me." I know u guys can't just like I can't but at least have the decency to look in the mirror before pointing fingers. Don't act all saint to me deh. Muka aja ga mendukung tapi laganya banyak sekali.

Anyway, back to happier subject (yes, I bounce back fast hihihi) Yesterday I cooked again but probably I won't be trying new recipe for at least a week. It's burning a hole thru my pocket buying the ingredients =.=

Start my day of course by sending the kids to school. Then I went to Muara Karang market coz I promised Sam I would buy him the Bihun Goreng for him, Hera and Yuyu. I myself had Hokkien Mie for breakfast. This is Indonesian Hokkien Mie so it differs from the one in Singapore. But it's my favorite too. So super delicious.

Photobucket

Went to fetch the kids at noon. Straight away went to TA for Casey's skating lesson. I watched her skated inside the rink with her instructor. She's doing pretty good already. I promised her a pair of skates when she can really skate on her own.

Then Cecil & I went up to Bistro Delifrance. I used to love Delifrance in Singapore. It's my favorite place to catch a quick meal and I just love the mushroom soup they have. Those days, they don't have many choices yet so it's limited to one soup per day and it changed every day. That's probably why they call it "Soup of The Day" in the 1st place hehehe... At that time, there was this mall I frequent called Parkway Parade. I would go there at least 4-5 times in a week and each time I passed Delifrance, I would ask "What is the soup of the day?" If the answer was "mushroom soup." Then I would stop to buy or else I would just say "Thanks" n left the place. The waiter probably recognized me coz that's practically the only thing I did everytime I walked pass there that after a certain number of times, before I could ask, I would be told, "No mushroom soup today." Hahaha... Those were the good old days. I really miss Singapore. Never mind. I'm dropping there after my Japan trip so I'm really excited.

Is it me who suddenly become stingy or is Delifrance really expensive for its class? I really think they are overcharging. I ordered :

Cappucino de Champ

Profiteroles au Choc

The first one is mushroom soup. What a chic name, huh? The dessert is really good. U all should try it when u go there. Don't order the tiramisu cake though. It tastes really weird. I can't quite describe it but well, it must be the weirdest tiramisu cake I ever eaten =.=

Came home to rest awhile before cooking dinner. I made Seafood Fried Rice and Ayam Cornflakes.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The fried rice is so-so to me even though Sam said it's great but the chicken is good. Cecil just can't seem to stop eating it. I also made Strawberry Pudding.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

I don't have time to decorate it like I see in the picture (as if I know how hahaha) so this will have to do. Sam said he can get use to this kind of cooking everyday. Hahaha... Should I tell him to dream on? :P

Going to Kidzania this noon. Hopefully I can catch a movie when the kids are inside hehehe....

Cake Moka KacanG

My 2nd entry of the day. Since Sam has to go out for dinner, I decided to bake a cake today out of curiosity. Yes, I only bake when I'm curious about something not because I have a passion for it. Hihihihi...

Anyway, Casey's fringe bugs me so much that I can't wait till Friday. I just had to bring her to Yopie Salon to cut it. I don't believe in spending more than Rp 50K just to cut the bloody fringe. I took her to Kiddy Cut once and they charged me Rp 80K and they made her look like an idiot coz the cut was so untidy. Am never ever going back there again for whatever reason. At Yopie Salon, it costs me only Rp 18K. Very cheap and reasonable.

Sent Cecil to Wisma Relasi after that for her piano lesson. While waiting, Casey and I went to Ranch Market first coz Casey said she wants to eat Macaroni and Cheese for supper. Yeah, u read it right. S-U-P-P-E-R! My kids normally have their dinner at 7pm and around 8-9pm, they will find food to eat again. It's like they are underfed =.= So, got all the ingredients and went back to Wisma Relasi to fetch Cecil. By the time she was finished, it was pouring heavily. A really nice weather to bake actually hehehe....

Came home and started preparing the stuffs. I made Cake Moka Kacang. The pic looks easy and the steps are easy to follow so I thought why not give it a try. This is how my cake turns out:

And u know what? It tastes really nice! The melted chocolate I used to glaze the top is just to my liking. Sweet but not too sweet.

And this is my Macaroni and Cheese :

Not many things to blog about. I guess u all know by now my days are pretty boring coz I can hardly go out during the weekdays =.= I mean I can but my time spent outside is limited. Kids are dismissed earlier this week from Tuesday to Thursday due to the upcoming BBS Sport's Day. Friday is the big day but since both of my kids aren't participating in any events, I'm giving them a day off. Will be bringing them to Kidzania on Friday and right after that I'll be taking them to Ertien's Salon. Cecil will be doing smoothing while Casey will have her fringe trim down. It's going to be a busy day. Sam will be leaving for Bali early Friday morning and will only return on Sunday noon. He changed his mind about me looking for my own sandals. Below was the short call he made to me yesterday from his office:

Sam: Sin, Minggu kan gua baliknya siang. Nanti kita nonton aja sekalian cari sendal lu
Me: Lho? Katanya suruh gua cari sendiri
Sam: Iya gua berubah pikiran. Kayanya mending ma gua aja
Me: Kenapa?
Sam: Iya takutnya kalo lu pegi cari sendiri bisa2 lu ga tau diri. Kalo pegi ma gua kan lebih aman. Lu biasa kalo dikasih belanja sendiri kan kaya orang kerasukan gitu.

Hahaha... It doesn't matter to me. Branded or brandless.... as long as I'm not the one paying I'm happy ^.^

Yesterday was a pretty gloomy day outside. It was raining most of the day. In the morning after dropping the kids to school, I went to Hotel Menara Peninsula to get my monthly massage. The woman was new. At least to me she is coz I was never massaged by her before but she was really good. I felt much more relaxed when I came home.

Normally Tuesday is my "no-cook-day" coz Sam goes for basketball with his colleagues and usually he eats outside. He decided to stop playing basketball since 2 weeks ago and now I have to cook =.=

I made Nasi Tim Jamur for the kids. Used to have this great recipe but I lost it so I tried making Nasi Tim from another recipe book.

Photobucket

Casey said it's great but I still feel the old recipe is better. Of course Casey wouldn't know the difference. The last time I made it she was probably only 2 years old hahahaha....

For dinner, I cooked Kangkung Belachan and Steik Ayam Saus Inggris.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The chicken steak looks kinda messy but it tastes pretty good. The whole family loves it.

Just now while chatting with Livy, she told me about the new menu she put up in her blog. There's this archive where she puts all of her recipes. I saw this one :

Photobucket

and go "aaaaargggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Geez, how tempting that apple pie is!!!!! I think my saliva just dripped hahaha.... I wish I can bake like Liv.... u should all see her cooking. They are all to die for *sambil nelen ludah* I'm suddenly hungry. I think I can eat a horse. Gotta go and look for food now.

My 1st Batch of Putri Salju

Saturday was a pretty boring day for me since Cecil had a change of plan and decided to finish her school project at home. So we didn't have lunch in Samudra Seafood TA as planned. Sam came home from the warehouse at around 4.30am in the morning and he was too sleepy to go and have lunch with us. We ended up going to Coca Suki just the 3 of us.

We ordered 2 set menu and a couple of side dishes.

Photobucket
Kwetiaw Goreng

Udang Goreng Bungkus Kulit Tahu

I just guess the name of the last pic coz I forgot what it was called but well, that's give u a rough idea, right? hehehe.... Have I mentioned that the Kwetiaw Goreng in Coca is super delicious? We love it so much.

Went to Ace Hardware coz Cecil needed to find a switch circuit for her project but we couldn't any. U guys have any idea where I can buy it? I did that when I was in Singapore but that was probably in my secondary years. Crazy school these days.

I spent the evening trying to make Putri Salju again after I got Ayink's recipe and this time it turns out pretty okay.

Photobucket

A bit messy I know hahaha... am really satisfied with it actually. Kids and Sam said they taste great but of course thanks again to Ayink's recipe ^.^

I also made a very simple dessert for the family. Sam's been asking me to make this for weeks and I finally made it last Saturday hahaha...

Photobucket Photobucket

We went over to my dad's house earlier yesterday coz we were planning to watch "Water Horse" in EX. Yesterday I finally am able to breathe freely again. It's like a load of weight had been finally lifted off my back. Some of u may know what it was coz it's the same thing that had been bothering me for the past couple of weeks. Now I'm finally able to shop again! Hahaha.... Well, not exactly coz I'm not in the mood for shopping....just yet.

Anyway, at 1.30pm we left my dad's place. It was pretty late actually but I completely forgotten about the "No-Car Day" which is held at the last week of every month. Cn warned me about it in her blog but I didn't remember until Sam mentioned it. So, we didn't get the tickets to the movie coz by the time we reached EX, the tickets were all sold out. We went to En Restaurant instead to eat.

The last one is a couple of grilled stuffs like garlic, spring onions, chicken skin and meatballs. I lurveeee the chicken skin so much. Simply delicious! As for the porridge, I know it doesn't look appealing but it is yummy. Kids love it too. I told Sam that the next time we are there, I'm only going to try the recommended stuffs. They have so many and I have yet to try them all hehehe....

Then went to Kinokuniya where the kids bought some books. I wanted to look for a new pair of sandals but we just found out Linea has been closed. Not sure whether it moves to somewhere else around the mall or not but didn't bother to look for it either coz Sam just couldn't wait to go home. He told me to go and look for it myself. He said I can buy Bally as long as it's not LV or Gucci or Versace =.= But he lets me buy Bottega. Really weird since Bottega costs just as much as Gucci... or maybe he doesn't realize that. Anyway, given the freedom to choose, now I'm really confused what to get. Maybe I will just go to Metro and look around. My feet aren't used to branded stuffs. Anyway, since I'm flat-footed, the proper word is "unfit" for branded stuffs hehehe coz shoes hardly last long worn by me. Yes, sadly that's the case.

On our way back to the car, Casey wanted to buy cupcake. She chose the Doraemon one while I choose the one with cream cheese.

Lastly, we took some pics in the room at night and we kinda freaked out to see so many orbs around. This is me and Casey:

Photobucket

And this is me and my 'grandma':

Photobucket

Hahaha... I know it's a bad joke but I always teased her that coz she loves wearing her glasses down. It's really making her pretty face looks bad =.=

Yua's PackaGe

Today, I just realized that "mentega" is actually "butter" in English. All this time I thought it was margarine. Luckily, I don't have that passion for baking or else it will be embarrassing to admit it right now hehehe...

I don't have many interesting stuffs to write about. Yesterday we were late for Casey's skating lesson so we ended up having lunch in Huang Ting. I tried this new menu called "Kuah Bakso Udang Goreng"

Photobucket

It's pretty okay. When u bite it, there's a hole inside and it's half filled with soup and there's tobiko too. Different from the usual but it's nice. Cecil loves it.

For dessert, I ordered "Latte Es Krim Saus Alpukat"

Photobucket

The avocado is yummy but ice cream tastes kinda weird =.= Casey and I also ordered the usual Roast Duck Noodles. The total was Rp 230K which I think is pretty crazy for a restaurant like Huang Ting and considering that the only ones eating were Casey n me, yes, it is very expensive for me. I'm not sure I'm going there again in the near future. Noodle doesn't taste as good as it used to be.

Yesterday evening I made some fettucine with mushroom sauce. Very simple and easy to cook.

Photobucket

I wanted to try to make Putri Salju but the recipe I got from the net was kinda misleading. Even after I put the mixture in the fridge for about an hour, I still can't shape the cookies coz it's too sticky so I ended up telling the kids to shape them however they like and put them in the oven to bake. After all, it's such a waste to just throw the mixture. The cookies turn out like these:

Photobucket

They taste excellent actually. And today I browsed again from the net and turned out that I need to put the mixture into the freezer =.= Anyway, I've asked Ayink for her recipe and I'll try it again sometime next week.

And today, I got a package from Yua. She gave me these:

Photobucket

This is a close up look of the hp strap:

Photobucket

She also sent me the book I've asked her to help me buy. I didn't know it was that heavy. Now I feel pretty bad about it =.= I called her up and was told that there was a small plastic bag for Ria. I felt worse coz kids thought it was mine so they opened it up. They already tore the Dalmatian bag but luckily the biscuits are still intact. So sorry, Ria.

Will be having lunch in Samudra TA tomorrow with Sam and the kids. Have a great weekend, guys ^.^ I won't be updating till Monday.

MakinG LasaGna

I love the season of Lent, that is 40-day period before the Easter. That is when we Catholics are required to fast and even though by right we are only supposed to do that on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, Sam always does it every Wednesday and Friday within that period. I find myself lucky coz I only need to cook vegetables hehehe... So much for thinking hard what to cook for dinner.

Last night I decided to make lasagna. I don't know why but I always choose the wrong time to bake. I started at 7.45pm. Made the 1st 3 batches coz I need to put the kids to sleep. Then when they have, I went down to finish the other 3. Below are pics of my lasagna done step-by-step:

Photobucket
The meat put at the very base

Photobucket
Top it with the sauce (grated cheese, milk, etc)

Covered with the cooked lasagna noodles

Photobucket
Again, with the meat

Photobucket
Then the sauce again

Photobucket
Also the cooked lasagna noodles

Photobucket
2nd last step, coat with sauce again

Photobucket
Finally... the mozzarella

And the result is.....

Photobucket

Well, the above ones aren't finished yet coz I'm saving them for the kids tonight so I thought better not overbake it. This is the one Sam and I ate last night:

Photobucket

After one bite:

Photobucket

I think they are easier to make than cakes. You can never fail at making lasagna.... But normally I need to work up that mood before I decide to make it hahaha....

Mini Oreo Surprise Muffins

Why in the world they don't make guys like that in Asia? When I saw this video an hour ago, I couldn't help but drool over it. I know I'm married with kids but it's just a sin not to admire something so beautiful hehehe.... Matthew.... if I ever decide to have a baby boy (which I doubt very much), I will name him that. And during those months of pregnancy, I will look at his pics at all times without fail... I will watch his movies like a zillion times.... and hopefully my baby does turn out a little like him at least ^.^ That will never come true, u see. I am never going to want another baby. Unless I have a change of mind and finally think that taking care of babies is thrilling for a middle-aged woman like me. Other than that, I will just admire Matthew from afar. He is the kind of man that when u first lay eyes on him and all u want to do is strip him off his shirt. Well, maybe he doesn't have that effect on u all or maybe it's me who's a psycho hahaha....

Sam came home with a bad news last night. I'm not even going to say what it is coz u might all have probably guess it. Anyway, he wanted to make it up to me by going to Singapore this weekend instead but I don't want. I'm so looking forward to meeting up with Yon n NoniQ in Bali. He felt really bad about it and kept asking me what can he do to make it up to it. He's really sweet which made me realize that I'm a little selfish if I keep on pulling such a long face. He also offered me to go Macau with him but what fun would it be if he spends all his time with his colleagues instead of us =.= Yup, his boss is paying for the staffs' annual trip to Macau this time. Crazy, right? Anyway, Sam said, "Jangan gitu dong... kalo lu kaya gitu ntar gua ke sana kenapa2 lagi." That kinda hit on me and I stopped sulking. I mean, after all these years, after all the stuffs that we've been thru, I realized he's the only one I can come back to. Even though he made me cry so many times a couple of years ago, the new change in him erases the pain a little by little. At least I know Sam isn't the type to run away from his problems. He's not the type to shut himself off from me when he's troubled. He always want to share with me. I think that's what relationship is all about, right? It makes u wonder how important u are to the person if that person doesn't seem to want to share anything. I know I have asked God many times during our fights why is he putting me to the test but in the end I know, God has never left me. Look at Sam now. He's just so different. I know it's hard for u all guys to know how different he is at this moment but I'm the one walking thru this path and I'm the one experiencing everything. I'm happy for me.... I hope u guys too ^.^

Sooooo, I'm officially staying in Jakarta during the Easter. Maybe I'll meet up with the others for a gathering. Not so sure yet. Now I don't have Easter to look forward to so I'm looking forward to June instead. Hopefully nothing comes in the way again. Amen ^.^

Last night, I tried making the Mini Oreo Surprise Cupcakes again but I think the proper name is "Mini Oreo Surprise Muffins" since I used the muffin mixture instead of cake :P It didn't turn out as good as I hope but at least it's better than my previous try. Hey, I'm an amateur so don't be too hard on me. Like I said, I sux in baking stuffs =.= Anyway, this is how it looks like before I bake it.

Photobucket

It's half-filled coz I have to add in the cream cheese and mini oreo in the middle before I cover it again with the muffin mixture. And this is when it's done:

Photobucket

Trust me... it looks uglier without the buttercream... and I don't even know how to freaking decorate! So, please be gentle with your comment hihihi.... It turns out alright though. Well, like I said before, nothing can go wrong with Betty Crocker. I'm not sure though I'm going to try it again anytime soon. I'm done with baking cakes, cupcakes or muffins. Should just stick to cooking normal meals.

Right now, I'm chatting with Susan. My MIL asked me what I want to buy and first thing that came to mind is Juicy Couture bag! I've been drooling over it since Irene showed me the website and after reading Xiaxue's blog about her shopping spree in US. Can't wait for my MIL to come back now. I have something to look forward to again in March hehehe....

Cute Egg Moulders

We didn't go to church yesterday. My MIL has gone to States and she'll be gone for a month. Let's see if I'm too lazy to go to church again next week hihihi.... Left home at 11.30am. All my nephews and nieces were in my dad's place so it was really crowded. Michael, my nephew, is kinda cheeky and we all loved to tease him coz he's just too funny. Whenever he talks to me, he will put his hand around my neck or lean forward towards me. He's not afraid of his mom but he's really scared of his dad, Ayau and Cin2. He hardly apologizes to his brother if he does something wrong but yesterday, he walked so fast that he almost pushed over Valentine to the ground. Then Xiaohui said, "Wah nanti papanya Yaya ( we normally call Valentine by Yaya at home) marah lhooo..." Michael turned all sweet and walked over to Yaya and said, "Sorry yaa...tadi aku ga sengaja... sorry yaa... Jangan bilangin papanya ya." Hahahaha.... We all had a good laugh. He's really, really scared of my 2nd elder brother and it's not like Cin2 ever shouted at them or hit them but kids are just scared of him. Don't know why. He just needs to stare at them and they will cry. Both of his girls are that scared of him too. I think it's good in a way coz hyperactive kids need to have someone they are afraid of or else it's hard to control them.

Anyway, we went to TA after that coz Sam wanted to look for new mattresses for the kids. If I'm not wrong, I bought the ones they are sleeping in not even a year ago. We went to King Coil, Dreamline and Serta. Ended up buying in King Coil again. They will be sent to us on next Monday.

We ate again in Pepper Lunch. It's been awhile since I last ate there. On our way to the carpark, I met an old friend. He used to be in our group (meaning the same group as Cing2, Ria, Chiang, etc) but he kinda drifted away and we all found out that he actually been calling us "gossipers". The guts of him... What we did between us were merely exchanging facts. We don't gossip hihihi.... Mantannya cc Ria tuh *tunjuk2 Ria* I didn't realize it was him when he and his gf passed us. I realized it much later when we were walking behind them. He looked fatter and older. Loads of white hair sticking out of his head. Really don't look like someone in his late 20's. I think he saw me too coz Casey and Cecil were running around in front of him but I pretended not to acknowledge his presence. I don't like having enemies but sometimes, when a friendship is meant to end, then let it be. At least that way, your eyes are more opened to whom u can call as "friends" and to those who should be avoided as much as possible ^.^ I know there are probably tons of people who don't like me at the moment (I don't like to use the word "hate" or "detest" .... I'm a positive thinker, remember?) and that's okay with me. I have tons of people I don't like too. That's just life.

Remember I mentioned that I bought the fancy stickers for my NDS? Well, this is the new look of my NDS now:

Photobucket

Yesterday in Ranch Market, I bought this cute egg moulder.

Photobucket

And after moulding the eggs, they look like this:

Photobucket

So kawaii, right?? Hihi... It's supposed to motivate the kids to eat eggs. I don't need them actually since both of my girls are crazy over eggs. I just bought it coz I am curious if it really works and it does!
