Weird Look @ the Sky

This is one amazing little girl. She's only 6 but she has such a beautiful voice. And she's soooo adorable. You can't help but fall in love with her seeing her in that clip. Melts my heart each time she smiles. For my background song this time, I'm putting up her song "I Will Always Love You."

As for today, I didn't go to Senci after all. We left home at 11am and we went to Puri Market to look for some more Minnie stuffs to give to Valentine. Found a Minnie dinner set, pajamas, and lunch box to add to the ones I already bought a couple of days ago. We still planned to go to Senci at that time but by the time we reached ITC Permata Hijau, it's almost 1pm and we were already so hungry but the place was quite jammed. While at the traffic light, Cecil talked about seeing a rainbow upside-down. i thought she was just making it up at first so I didn't really pay attention but Casey talked about it too so I looked up at the sky. Did u guys notice how strange the sky looked just now? I mean yes, at first I saw it was like rainbow upside-down but then I noticed that it was the shape of a circle. These are the pics :

Well, it was my first time seeing this so for u guys who have encountered this numerous times, please excuse me for being ignorant. And forgive me for being what Indonesian called as 'norak' hehehe... Felt kinda creepy though seeing the sky like that. Can't quite explain the feeling.

So, since we were hungry, we decided to have lunch in Pancious as it's the nearest there. For just the 3 of us, we did really eat a lot :

I think I'm done eating there. Even though I love the Strawberry & Apple drink just now and I think the Blueberry Cheese taste marvelous but the main courses aren't the kind of food I will eat for the 2nd time. The Tenderloin Steak that Casey ordered doesn't even live up to its name.

When we finished eating, I decided I'm just too lazy to go to Senci. Moreover, we'll be going to EX tomorrow with Sam so might as well spent today doing something else. Don't want to waste my money for something I might regret later on. We then decided to go to Karawaci.

Valentine was excited to get the birthday present. She was beaming when she saw what I gave her. She's just so smart for a 3 year old girl. Later at around 4pm, the kids went to the park to play.

Left Karawaci at 5pm. BTW, I was told by my SIL that dad's result has come out and the doctor in Penang said that he's okay. Just need to take some medications. We were all so relieved. On the other hand, got a bad news regarding my cousin, Emmy. She just had a miscarriage. I'm not sure she's sad though coz she's not planning to have anymore children. On top of that, her MIL had specifically told her not to have anymore so I guess it's not a total loss for her.

Tomorrow, we are planning to go and watch "Alvin & The Chipmunks" @ EX Premiere since I've called up and asked if the buy-one-get-one promotion is still on and was told that it's forever! How lucky Standard Chartered credit card holders are! Oh and I've already asked another thing. It doesn't apply for all types of cards. Just the platinum ones so I'm sorry if I kinda mislead the others the other day. I thought it applies for all. Not going to my dad's place tomorrow noon coz he will only be back at night.

I lurve the taste of the 1st one coz I'm a veggie lover. Pork with Pasta is a bit sweet for my liking and it's just weird when pasta cooked in Asian style. So I'm not going to put that recipe in my book even though Sam said he likes it. We are so different. He likes sweet while I like my food a bit salty.

Don't ask me why they are called that but that's what the aquarium guy told me. I don't even know what they are called in English but they are cute, right? Sooo fat and it's so funny seeing their fins moving so fast in order to keep their balance. It's hard for me to take a decent pic of them coz the Ikan tweety is sooo shy that it always hides whenever I go near the tank. As for the Ikan sapi2, it's hard to take a pic of them from the side. Whenever I try to do that, they will stare back at me as if they know what I'm doing!

Time to get ready now. Going to Senci in awhile. Not sure yet what we'll have for lunch but thinking of trying something new.

One quick question: Would u buy an LV dog carrier for the price of US$1,700 just to put your dog in? LOL... Sometimes it just amazes me at how the celebs spend their money. If I have a dog, I would rather let it walk all over me or even pee on me (poop is a bit too extreme of course) rather than having to buy that bag....and it's not even for my own pleasure. I am a dog lover but I guess I will never go to that length to pamper a dog. Come to think of it, almost all the handbags I have are presents from either Sam or my MIL.

Last night, I tried the Betty Crocker blueberry muffin mixture I got from Ranch Market. It's soooo easy! Even Casey can do it hehehe.... I love baking that doesn't involve anything from the scratch. Yeah that's me. Lazy...hihihi... Suli said it takes out all the fun of baking but well, I really thank for the invention of this brand ^.^ It's a small pouch so it only fetches 4 muffins. One for me, one for the kids each and one for Sam.

Yeah, not pretty but what can I say, I don't have the same passion about baking as Gina. They taste great though. Sam's a blueberry lover so he really loves it.

This morning, I was busy looking for new recipes online so I'm going to cook new dishes later on. As usual, the fast and easy ones are my choices. Will post the pics tomorrow. Went to Ranch Market again to buy Betty Crocker's chocolate chip muffins mixture. Intend to bake them once my cakes are finished. This morning Leny sms me to tell me that she has new cakes on display and asked me to come to her shop to look around. That's exactly what I did after I finished buying groceries in Ranch Market. I was supposed to enroll myself in Fitness First today when Casey was having her ice skating lesson but I totally forgot about it till I got home. I had to look for belated present for my niece, Valentine. She specifically told me that she wants minnie mouse stuffs. I thought it's cheap but just one measly blouse and a pair of jeans cost me almost Rp 300K. Geez... I should have just buy the kitchen set which is slightly more expensive. And the present doesn't look big enough. I mean if I spend that much, I want the present to scream "I'm an expensive gift!!!" Hehehe... Maybe I'm asking for too much.

Zara is having sale but nothing caught my eye. Not even when I went to Kamiseta. This is really weird. I'm losing my interest in clothes when I shouldn't coz I really need to get bigger jeans to fit my ass in. Everytime I look at a nice pair of jeans and look at the price, I ended up not buying coz I thought it will be a waste of money. I have too many jeans anyway. Okay, half the amount of my tops. That's pretty crazy, right? I don't feel like throwing out any of them but if I intend to get new ones I need to coz my wardrobe is overflowing. Very soon Sam will complain again.

My Bali's trip is fixed. Sam already booked the tickets and the hotel. We'll be staying at Discovery Kartika Plaza. Sam wanted to book a family room actually but I told him just the standard will do. It's not like we're going to spend the whole day in the hotel so it's really unnecessary to waste that kind of money. I even suggested something out of the ordinary.

Me: Kenapa ngga?
Sam: Emang ada hotel yg semalem Rp 80K di Bali?
Me: Ada tuh. Temen Ria taon lalu ke sana nginep di tempat itu.
Sam: Halaaah.... lu aja sana yg nginep. Paling ntar lu ditawarin semalem brp. Hotel yg murah gitu mah biasa tempat pelacuran. Ya u know lah.... tempat yg orang mau ONS tapi ga mau keluar duit banyak.
Me (after looking at DKP Hotel) : Kamarnya keliatan agak kuno ya? Ga ada yg lebih bagus apa? Oberoi aja yuk.... (of course it's just a joke. It costs Rp 2 mill/night!)

Sam: Lagian.... dari Rp 80K langsung minta yg Rp 2 mill....

Make sense too.... I mean, what can u expect from a Rp 80K room in Bali? I can't imagine what kind of place it is. Anyway, I've text NoniQ to tell her about Yon n my plans so hopefully the 3 of us can meet together there. She's just as excited as we are about this ^.^ Might go to her cafe and see what it's like....depending on Sam's mood. He changes his mind faster than I change my clothes =.=

I have lunch in Ta Wan today. Ordered my favorite Kung Pao Chicken and tried this new menu Udang Telor Asin.

Doesn't look like the normal one, right? Taste a bit weird too but it's still nice. Crystal Jade's one is still the best.

As Casey will be celebrating her birthday in 3 more months, I'm still helping her to think what theme to use for her birthday party this time. She wanted HSM (High School Musical) like Cecil's party but I'm so sick of it already. Suggested her to use Disney Princess instead. And while browsing, I saw these Disney Princess cupcakes :

Cute, eh? But I'll definitely order the cake from Pasadena again. They really have huge collection or can even do it as long as u provide them the pics and give them a rough idea of what u want.

I'm a little worried at the moment actually so don't mind me ranting pointlessly from just now. My dad is in Penang with Ivan right now for a check up. Ivan told me that he's not feeling well but when I called him up 2 days ago to ask him about his trip to Penang, he told me it's just for holiday, nothing to worry about =.= I know he doesn't want me to worry but that makes me more sad. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is going to be okay.

Still SicK

This is so downright torturing =.= My cold is getting from bad to worse and I'm just afraid the kids will get it too. Not that they haven't. I got it from Casey in fact but mine is so much worse than theirs. Going to Dr Jani in a little while and then probably go get some ingredients. I want to make pudding today. Yeah, sick and all I can think of is food.

Changed my skin coz I really love this really wide space for the blog entry. I don't need to resize my pics to small sizes anymore hehehe.... Hopefully I'm feeling better tomorrow. Really need to do some shopping for myself again.

I made my first pasta tutup today ^.^ Of course it's something to be happy about. I now have a new recipe to add to my book. My recipe book only holds recipes I've tried and I like. The ones I haven't are in another file. Anyway, don't except mine to be like the one Irene's mom makes. Come on, I'm an amateur in this. I found these 2 recipes online a couple of days ago and decided to try it out. Leaving some ingredients intact while omitting some out and adding others in. 2 recipes combine into one. This was how it looks like before it's baked :

LOL...I know, I know it's a little burnt at the sides. That's the reason why I think I should stay out of the kitchen as often as possible :P I was too lazy waiting for the cheese to turn into golden colors so I just have to be a smart ass and turn on the burner on top. Not much damage done though except if I am to sell this one, it's a no-no hahaha.... The taste however isn't a letdown. I would say I'm satisfied at how it turned out although I did make a mistake by using beef sausage instead of chicken sausage like Irene's mom did. Oh well, it's my 1st so there's room for improvement. And I was surprised that it's quite an easy thing to make. It isn't as troublesome as lasagna. With the recipe, it's hard even to fail. I guess it just takes a person with patience to make it perfect. And of course practice makes perfect too.

Makes me happy when I can cook something I love eating ^.^

Oh before I forgot, I watch "The Ten" last night on DVD.

Please spare yourself from the torture. Don't watch this movie! It's so freaking stupid! It's about God's ten commandments but each was made into a story. Sam kept saying it's a silly show and wondered why I still kept watching till more than half of the movie. The reason was plain. I was gullible enough to think that maybe, just maybe, there're some good parts lie within the movie itself. And I was so very wrong. The story got worse and worse. I was fooled with the fact that Jessica Alba, Paul Rudd, Winona Ryder and Liev Schreiber were in the movie. Thinking to myself "Wow...it must be interesting. So many famous celebs there." It's one of the worst movies I've ever watched. It will disgust u to your roots when Winona acts like a psycho there first falling in love and then making love to a ventriloquist's puppet while her hubby was just next door. Aaaarghhhh... I will never watch her movie in admiration again....eveeeerrrrr!!!!

I had almost the same conversation with others a couple of days ago. Well, I found out about IC being up again from Wiwin. She asked me if I still go to that site. I asked her if it's already up and running and she said 'yes'. Well, I did try to open the site but this PC, that I'm mostly using now, just won't open that page. It seems like it can read my mind LOL... Not that it bothers me. I feel that my life is so much more quieter now that I no longer go to that site. I don't have to worry about writing blogs which upset people anymore or blogging about stuffs I bought without having others to criticize with the way I'm spending my money. After all, one blogs for one's pleasure, right and not to please others. Anyway, thru IC I met some of the wonderful friends I have now but that's that. It doesn't bother me a bit if I never have to enter that forum anymore. It's not like the end of the world for me. Hello, I have other priorities even though I'm just a housewife. After all I still keep in touch with the good friends in IC thru sms or YM and it's all that matters.

I have a good news to share which in turn, a good news for Yon too hihihi... I'll be going to Bali during this Easter break! Yipee.... Bali here I come again! Made plans to meet up with Yon and NoniQ there but I haven't told NoniQ about the good news yet. Geez, I really miss her. I miss Bali so much too.... the Waterbom, Bubba Gump.... aaaarghhh.... it's my 2nd choice next to Gold Coast. But I better not rant anymore or else Ria will start calling me a show off. Still, no matter how show off I am I can't beat one particular friend of hers who only been to Bali once but talked as if she's living her whole life there LMAO... People....pffftt..... they come in many kinds *shaking head*

Yesterday even though I'm not feeling that well, I still went to Puri Mall to collect Cecil's glasses and since I haven't had my lunch, took the girls to eat in Ajisen Ramen. I know, I said I will not step into that place for a long, long time but Cecil wanted to eat in there. As for me, I'm in no mood to eat but hungry enough to consume any food.

This morning, I went to Menara Peninsula for a massage. I forgot to take down the woman's name but I will never have her massaged again....ever! I didn't enjoy it one bit.

Came home and checked 2Baksa and found out that The Exchange Student Episode 2 has been released. Was so happy and download it instantly. Intended to leave the house earlier but just couldn't get enough of that game. Finally, I had to tear myself away from the game at 11.45am. Went to EX. First, went to Old Chang Kee to buy the fishballs and curry puffs. Passed by this Cupcakes counter mentioned by CN. They are really pretty that I bought 4 back. Yes, only 4 coz it's quite expensive =.=

I finally helped Wowo to get the "gerobak ayam goreng". It's soooo adorable! I want to buy one for myself next time. After I save enough for SLR cam first.

They even have light for it! How cute is that?? Fetched Casey a bit late and sent her to Wisma Relasi for her piano lesson. On our way back, dropped by Ranch Market to buy groceries. Was surprised to bump into Gina there.

Okay, I'm going down to cook and rest. My sore throat is getting better. Now I'm down with the cold. I'm a very lucky bitch.

Down With Sore ThroaT

Kids are back to school and I'm somehow a bit relieved. But that also means more time at home now which kinda sux. Not that I'm fit to go anywhere at the moment. Yeah, I'm officially sick right now. I finally got the sore throat except it's not so bad this time round. Just need to take CDR and eat medicine a couple more times and I'll be up and running by tomorrow *cross my fingers* Sometimes, when people asked me how old my kids are, I myself find it hard to believe. Not that I think I don't look that age. Mind u, I'm not that self-confident hehehe... Just that I can't believe how times fly. Just a couple of nights ago I took a pic of Casey in a party dress :

And when I looked at the pic, it was still hard to swallow the fact that she's a big girl now. Well, almost 7 is a big girl to me. And she looks more mature than her age in the pic, don't u think? I'm really content with my life now. There's nothing else I want.

I just found out yesterday that it was Valentine's birthday. What a bad auntie I am! Will get her birthday present within this week though. Yesterday, we went to church at 9.45am coz there are 3 masses in the morning now. 1st at 6am, 2nd at 8am and 3rd at 10.30am. Kids couldn't possibly make it to 8am (even when it was at 9am it took me like forever to make them eat breakfast and get ready) so we took the 3rd session. We finally got to sit inside and feel what MKK is like with the air-conditioner. It was nice coz yesterday weather was bloody hot. I took a pic of the place :

Just found out from Wiwin's blog that that's the church she went to on Saturday. Yeah, it's a really tough church to find. When I got married last time, my friends had trouble finding it too and most of them arrived only when the ceremony was over LOL

Went to dad's house as usual and we did go out to Chandra to find some DVDs with my dad. Just him, Casey and me though. Cecil was too lazy to go out.

Came home and watched "Daddy Day Camp" with Sam and the kids. It was a sequel to "Daddy Day Care". It was hilarious but the 1st one where the leading actor was Eddie Murphy was so much better.

In the evening, Suli and Gina came over to drop some cupcakes they made. They are sooo pretty.

I took one cupcake and my sore throat got worse LOL but I just can't resist the temptation. It's moist and so yummy!

That night, we had dinner in Coca Suki. I didn't eat much coz all I can think of is the bed. And when I did get to bed which was at 9pm, I didn't wake up until 5.30am this morning. Was still sleepy but when I got home from school which was at 7am, I slept for another 2 hrs 30 mins hihihi... Now I'm really refreshed although I'm still having this irritating sore throat.

I'm tired but feeling very happy. The lunch was pretty successful considering that there were 15 people who came. Old and new friends gather together. At first I was quite worried that since Gina and Suli didn't know some of the old ICers it might be a little awkward for them but luckily they blend in just well. It was great....filled with loads and loads of laughters (well, knowing Cin, Charles and Dodi were there, no doubt there'll be plenty of jokes to go around) and it was really fun. Thanks to all those who came ^.^

As my driver didn't come, we had to go home by cab. I went back with Irene to Puri Mall. I was supposed to get the cake at noon to bring to TA but Suli was caught in traffic and was late so I decided I'll save the cake to eat at home. It's a peppermint chocolate chip from Baskin Robbins and it's my fav. This is the cake:

Is it just me or did u guys notice? Wiwin can never look bad on the cam! NEVER! It's like her face is made for the cam. See that last pic there, she looks so sweet even from the side. And Irene took a pic of Wiwin when she's making funny faces. Even when she did that she looks adorable. Maybe should try to catch her when she's sleeping.

Yeah that's about all that I took. Would have been better if I have an SLR camera. Talking about that, yesterday Cin told me to get this book called "Skins" from Amazon. The book teaches u how to edit your pics without any flaws....meaning people won't be able to differentiate that it's been edited. I finally got Yua to help me buy the book. Yipee.... When I master it, I'll definitely buy an SLR camera. Wait for me Wiwin, Yua.... I'll be joining u guys in the upper level soon ^.^

This whole day I stayed home. My driver is sick so I can't go anywhere. So what I do today? Chit chat with the gals of course about many, many things. Ria talking about the pervert guys she encountered, Yon kept luring me with pics of cute tees and Suli errr...she's kinda busy with games herself. Oh this morning we were talking about this game we downloaded a couple of days ago. It's called "The Exchange Student". It's really hilarious. Kinda contain a bit porn. Anyway I finished playing it since 2 days ago (it's a short game since it's only the 1st episode) and Suli was still stuck in the airport while Yon barely left the room yet.
